Little Eyes Big World is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies. Travel should feel open to everyone, and so should reading about it.

Our standard

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This is an ongoing effort: we are actively improving image descriptions (alt text), heading structure, link clarity, and color contrast across the site, and new content is created with these standards in mind.

Known limitations

Parts of this site were built over many years, and some older pages and images may not yet meet our standard. We are remediating them in an ongoing program.

If anything on this site is hard for you to use, we genuinely want to know, and we will try to fix it or get you the content another way. Email valerie@littleeyesbigworld.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line and a description of the problem and the page it is on. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
