Little Eyes Big World LLC (“Little Eyes Big World,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit littleeyesbigworld.com and its subdomains, including tripkits.littleeyesbigworld.com (together, the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are

Information you give us directly
When you contact us, book a call, submit a form, leave a comment, make a purchase, or sign up for our emails or a Trip Kit, we collect what you provide: typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message. If you create a Trip Kit, you may also enter trip details such as a destination, travel dates, and your kids’ ages or first names. That information is entered by you, the parent, and is used only to build your kit.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we and our service providers collect technical information when you browse: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and visit times. This happens through cookies and similar technologies.
The services we use
We believe you should know exactly who touches your data. We currently use: Google Analytics (site traffic measurement), Flodesk and Mailchimp (email services), Netlify (hosting for our Trip Kit app and its forms), WooCommerce and its payment processors (purchases on our site), ManyChat (Instagram message automation, if you message us there), and Etsy (purchases in our Etsy shop, which Etsy processes under its own privacy policy). If you arrived through an affiliate link, the affiliate network (such as Amazon Associates, LTK, ShopMy, Stay22, or Travelpayouts) may set cookies to attribute purchases. Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing its handling of data.
Third parties may collect information across sites
Some of the third-party services above, such as analytics and affiliate networks, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use our Site. Their collection is governed by their own policies.
How we use information
We use it to respond to you, deliver what you asked for (including your Trip Kit or a purchase), send our newsletter to people who signed up, run and secure the Site, understand traffic in aggregate, support our affiliate relationships, and comply with law. We sometimes use AI tools to help us draft, organize, and analyze our own business information; we do not feed your personal information to AI tools to make decisions about you, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone, AI companies included.
You only get our emails if you signed up. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately, and our mailing address. We never sell or rent your email address.
Cookies
Some cookies are essential (like the ones that make a cart work). Others measure traffic or attribute affiliate purchases. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, and where we show a cookie notice you can decline non-essential cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above so they can do their jobs for us, when the law requires it, to protect our rights or others’ safety, or as part of a business transfer, in which case this policy would continue to protect it.
How long we keep it
Newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Purchase records as long as tax and accounting rules require. Inquiries as long as reasonably needed to respond and keep our records. Trip Kit inputs like kids’ names are used to generate your kit and are not kept longer than needed to deliver it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no website can promise perfect security.
Children’s privacy
Our content is made for parents. The Site, including Trip Kits, is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Trip Kits are designed to be created by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will honor any reasonable request. Email valerie@littleeyesbigworld.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We will verify it is really you before acting, and we will never treat you differently for asking.
California residents
Little Eyes Big World is a small business that is not currently subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act’s thresholds, but we voluntarily honor the requests above for everyone. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes (California Civil Code section 1798.83).
Visitors from the EU, UK, and other regions with data protection laws
The Site is operated from the United States, and your information is processed here, where data protection laws may differ from your country’s. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are: your consent (for email marketing, which you may withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us), performance of a contract (to deliver something you bought or requested), and our legitimate interests (to run and secure the Site). You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for responding, the Site does not currently respond to these signals.
Changes
When we update this policy we will post the new version here with a new date. If a change is material, we will say so prominently on this page.
