Terms of Use

Welcome. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Little Eyes Big World LLC (“Little Eyes Big World,” “we,” “us”) and govern your use of littleeyesbigworld.com and its subdomains, including tripkits.littleeyesbigworld.com (the “Site”), and your purchase of our digital products. By using the Site or buying our products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Who can use the Site

The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. Kids are welcome to enjoy our content and Trip Kits with a parent or guardian supervising.

2. Our content is protected

Everything on the Site, including our photography, video, writing, graphics, Trip Kits, course materials, and the Little Eyes Big World name and logo, belongs to Little Eyes Big World or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may enjoy the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, scrape, distribute, sell, or use our content, especially our photography and video, for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission. Brands and partners who license our work receive a separate written license that governs their use.

3. Digital products are licensed, not sold

When you buy one of our digital products (including printables, guides, kits, templates, and prompt libraries), you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own personal or internal business purposes. You may print and use it for your own family or your own creator business. You may not resell it, redistribute it, share the files, post them publicly, use them to create products for sale, or claim them as your own. One purchase covers one household or one person’s business.

4. Purchases and refunds

Prices are shown before checkout. Our refund policy for each product is stated on its checkout page and in Section 15 below. Refunds we owe are processed promptly and in any event within 30 days.

5. Affiliate disclosure

We take part in affiliate programs. Some links on the Site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. We also participate in programs including LTK, ShopMy, Stay22, and Travelpayouts. We only recommend places and products we genuinely use or believe in, but always do your own research.

6. Sponsored content

Some of our content is created in paid partnership with brands or destinations. Sponsored content is always identified as such where it appears. Sponsorship never changes our honest opinion: if we would not recommend it to a friend, we do not publish it.

7. Testimonials and results

Testimonials and case studies on the Site, including in our course and product marketing, reflect individual experiences. They are not promises. Your results will depend on your own effort, circumstances, and market, and no income or outcome is guaranteed or implied.

8. Our content is information, not professional advice

Travel tips, itineraries, packing lists, safety notes, business education, and everything else we publish is general information and inspiration. It is not professional travel, medical, legal, financial, or tax advice. Conditions, prices, availability, visa rules, and safety situations change constantly. Verify anything important before you rely on it, and make your own decisions.

9. AI transparency

We use AI tools to help research, draft, and organize some of our content and products. A human (us) reviews what we publish, but AI-assisted content can contain mistakes. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any content, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for errors in AI-assisted content or for how you use any information from the Site. Verify details that matter, especially anything involving travel logistics, health, safety, or money.

10. Travel involves risk

You are responsible for your own travel decisions, bookings, health, safety, insurance, and compliance with local laws. We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from your travel or your reliance on our content.

11. Third-party links

We link to sites, products, and services we do not control, and we are not responsible for them. A link is not an endorsement, and your dealings with third parties are between you and them.

12. Comments and submissions

If you post a comment or send us a submission, you promise you own it, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and share it in connection with the Site and our channels. We may remove any comment for any reason. Do not post anything unlawful, hateful, or that invades someone’s privacy.

13. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice with your contact information, a description of the work, the URL of the allegedly infringing material, a good-faith statement, a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature to valerie@littleeyesbigworld.com. We respond to valid notices, including removing material where appropriate.

14. Warranties and liability

The Site and our products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Little Eyes Big World and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law, including liability for fraud, willful injury, or violation of law (California Civil Code section 1668), and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Product refund policies

Trip Kit Plus: full refund within 14 days of purchase. Email valerie@littleeyesbigworld.com and tell us it wasn’t right for your trip.
AI Assistant Starter Kit: full refund within 14 days of purchase, no hoops. Email us and say it wasn’t for you.
Travel Creator Map course: full refund within 14 days of purchase or before completing Module 2, whichever comes first.
Etsy purchases follow the policies posted in our Etsy shop.

16. How we handle disputes

We are a small family business and we would genuinely rather fix a problem than fight about it.

Talk to us first. Before starting any legal proceeding, you agree to email valerie@littleeyesbigworld.com describing the problem and what would make it right, and to give us 30 days to resolve it. Most things get fixed here.
Mediation option. If we cannot resolve it informally, either of us may propose mediation before any lawsuit, with the mediator’s fee split equally. Mediation is optional, not required.
Small claims stays open. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court at any time.
Class action waiver. Both of us agree to bring claims only individually, not as part of a class or representative action, to the extent permitted by law.
Deadline. Any claim must be filed within one year after it arises, unless the law does not allow that period to be shortened.

17. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that ends up in court will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Little Eyes Big World and its owners against claims and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site or our content, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

19. Changes

We may update these Terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be noted prominently. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept them.
